Wild Animal Park and Beach Trip

Spontaneously, a friend and I decided going to the San Diego Wild Animal Park would be fun! It was kind of a gloomy, rainy day when we decided to go. However, it ended up being the perfect day. Not too hot, not too cold; both sunny and cloudy. It was the perfect balance.

The park wasn’t busy. We talked to some nice people. Some of the animals did amazing things that we got to see.

When we approached the lion, we were searching and searching for it but he happened to be just staring at us on the other side of the path. When we finally saw him, he ran over to his rock and plopped down. He yawned and we got to see all his impressive teeth and large mouth. He was right next to the glass. It was an amazing day at the zoo.

We grabbed some delicious food at a bar and headed for the beach. The beach was pretty empty too. The water was beautiful. Hearing the waves crash was music to my ears. We watched the sun set and the sky change colors. It was gorgeous. A perfect end to a wonderful day.
