Downtown Deli Lunch Date

One of my close friends is my gym buddy. So, I see her four times a week. However, we don’t really see each other outside of that. We agreed that we had to change that, so we planned a lunch date on a day we don’t go to the gym.

Gym mornings usually consist of messy hair, no makeup and gym clothes of course. When we met up for lunch, it was strange to see us both in cute clothes with makeup on and hair done.

We found out the original place we were going to have lunch didn’t have coffee, so we decided to go a few streets away to a local place called Downtown Deli. We ordered and chose somewhere to sit. The place was so cute! The ambiance was cozy and cute but there was a ton of space. There were many people there but it wasn’t too loud either. It was just perfect. The coffee was delicious and the food was pretty good too. We had discussed that it would be a nice place to do online work.

Sometimes plans change and make it better than you could have thought.
