Christmas Cookie Bake

Today, Mom and I got the opportunity to participate in a neighbor’s annual Christmas Cookie Bake event. We made cute, easy Christmas wreath cookies out of cornflakes and marshmallows. We had fun being creative, getting our hands dirty and laughing with new friends. There was also a raffle and games! I won second place in the games!

Mom had to leave early for work. I grabbed her gifts, prizes and baked goods for her at the end. She mentioned wanting a specific thing from the raffle, so I am going to surprise her with it tomorrow morning. I love giving gifts and making someone feel special, especially someone I love.

I really enjoyed being apart of something new that I had never done before. It was nice not being in charge or leading the event. Being a participant is very different experience. It was lovely to see a problem happen and not have to rush in to save the day. When I did jump in to help, it was very much appreciated and fun.

I am so grateful to be included in new things with new people.
