2023 Family Vacation

Monday, my brother and his girlfriend had come over to visit. During our time together, our Dad’s vacation to Tennessee was brought up. After a small discussion Mom and I decided we wanted to go as well. So, what was originally a biker’s trip turned into a family trip.

My Dad and step mother were the first ones in our family going. They invited my brother and I since we have motorcycles. But, I am not sure I want to ride on a trip yet, although I do love adventures. I was kind of bummed that I wasn't going to be able to go without taking my bike. When Mom said she would go on the trip; that gave me an out if I wanted it since Mom doesn’t have a bike to ride. We talked about renting a cool car to follow the bikes when they do the fun rides.

Most people would never see a Mom and step mother going on a vacation together, but our family is awesome. We will be staying in toy haulers on the way out there, then meet some of my Dad’s friends at our destination. I have never been that far across the US on a road trip, so I am eager to explore more of our beautiful country. I am so grateful our family gets along and us kids like to vacation with our parents. We are lucky.

I am very excited to be adding another trip to my 2023 calendar. I have so many trips planned for this year and I can foresee more being added. This year I will be living my best traveling life.
