Galentine’s Day
What a fabulous Galentine’s Day. My friend, her sister and I celebrated Valentine’s Day with the girls. If you aren’t aware, the day before Valentine’s is Galentine’s Day. It’s when all the females celebrate Valentine’s Day together. Valentine’s can be a sad holiday for many people, so this is a way single people get to participate instead of just being sad about what they don’t have.
I hadn’t realized, but it’s been almost a month since I saw my friend last. We grabbed coffee and waited for her sister to get her nails done. We had a lot of catching up to do. Then, we headed over to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. It was crazy busy, but the wait was only 30-40 minutes. I thought that was pretty reasonable considering how many people were already waiting there and how many kept piling inside after us.
The service was AMAZING. Our waitress was very attentive, but not annoying. We were very impressed, especially since they were crazy busy. The bread rolls and butter are addictive! Our appetizers came quickly. The ribs were falling clean off the bone. Shortly afterwards, she brought our entrees. Everything we ordered was delicious.
Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. We ended up with so many to go boxes when we left. I am so grateful to be able to indulge in another delicious meal at a later time.
It was a wonderful night with great friends.
