Wow, I love technology. Instagram reels have taught me a lot of really cool things, but sometimes I’m not sure if their content is accurate or not. And while you can look it up online, there are still opinions in those websites. And of course everyone is trying to sell you something.
However, I have been using the Chat GPT app to fact check the things I learn on Instagram. Let me tell you, I am loving it! I watched a reel that basically said there’s less calories in noodles that have been cooked and then refrigerated. Sure enough, that’s correct. It even has many benefits like helping gut health and improving insulin sensitivity.
This is also how I learned about all the benefits about herbal teas. I have been researching which carrier and essential oils are best for what application. I just learned about castor oil and wow, that’s basically good for everything. But now, I know what goes best with what oil and the reasons behind why it works. I care more about why it works since I love learning. Plus understanding what it does allows me to combined things on my own eventually.
My best friend’s mom introduced us to an app called Yuka. It tells you if something has additives and informs you about studies of what it does if you choose to consume it. It’s simple to use and so informative. I have been scanning everything from food to skin care to shampoo. Now I can make a more informed decision on what I buy and choose to put in or on my body.
