This morning, I took Jelly Bean to get neutered. I’m so glad I have a place to take my pets for care that’s very close to home. The people who were also taking their cats to get vet care were so nice and interested in everyone else’s babies. There was a line to drop off, but of course, it went quickly.

A friend met me at my house so we could drive out of town to try a new coffee shop in Wildomar called Montague Brothers Coffee. It was a nice drive. The coffee shop is super cute and it has a homey feel. We got Christmas special coffees, they were both very delicious! I would recommend it!

My friend was telling me about a dairy near the coffee shop so we stopped and purchased some chocolate milk, a T-shirt and animal feed. They had some farm animals we could feed! It was so fun! I love supporting local businesses, especially farms. And of course petting cute animals!

We met my family at our usual breakfast spot and enjoyed a nice meal together before going about our work week. It’s a weekly tradition that I am truly grateful for. It is not common to have a family so close, but I’m so happy mine is!

My friend and I ran errands together. It’s much nicer doing it with a friend than solo. I’m so grateful to have a reliable friend. While we were driving around, we saw a baby cow! I stopped and pulled over. There was sheep, cows and guardian dogs. They were all friendly too and came right up to the fence! I got to pet some of the sheep and even the baby sheep came up and wanted pets.

When I picked up Jelly Bean, the ladies were raving about how cute and tiny he is. It’s lovely when other people love your pets as you do. The lady who handed me his carrier said they already fed him wet food. He gets special treatment since he’s a kitten. When he got home, he was so hungry still! Thirsty too. He’s definitely happy to be home though. How lucky am I to have such wonderful animals!
